First Annual Reason to Care Art Sale and Auction a Huge Success!

The BC Association for Community Living (BCACL) held its first annual Reason to Care art resale and auction fundraising event on Saturday, March 12, 2011. The event was a huge success, with crowds of art lovers picking up treasures throughout the day. To all the artists and art collectors who donated artwork and the volunteers and sponsors who helped make it a success:
Thank you! Together we raised more than $25,000.
Over 600 pieces of art were donated from artists, supporters of community living and members of the broader community. Guests at the evening reception and live auction also had the opportunity to participate in raffles or bid for fabulous items such as travel vouchers, romantic getaways, event tickets, spa treatments, restaurant certificates and gift baskets, all generously donated by event sponsors.
