About the BC Self Advocacy Foundation

The BC Self Advocacy Foundation was founded in 1985 with the help of the BC Association for Community Living. It was created in response to the request of people with developmental disabilities for an organization that would "assist people with developmental disabilities to become full, participating citizens in their own communities."
