Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)

The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a savings plan for people with disabilities in Canada. The first of its kind in the world, the tax-deferrable RDSP allows people with disabilities to save for the future without financial penalty.

The Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network (PLAN) has been instrumental in seeing the implementation of the RDSP in Canada. We thank PLAN for their tireless work in making the RDSP a reality.

*The BC Coalition of People with Disabilities is currently working on a project to produce a manual and videos on the RSDP, as well as conducting community workshops. More information will be posted to the RDSP section of the BCCPD website as resources become available.
