Jennifer Baumbusch

Dr. Jennifer Baumbusch is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing at UBC. She conducts research about aging with developmental disabilities, transitions across the lifecourse, and families of adults and children with developmental disabilities. Jennifer is interested in how social and health policies affect these aspects of everyday life for people with developmental disabilities. As the mother of an 8-year older daughter with disabilities, Jennifer is also personally interested in areas such as lifelong supports for people with disabilities, the economic impact on families, as well as access to health and social services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
