Supports and Services

CDSCL Programs: Provides support for individuals with disabilities emphasizing community inclusion.

Community Housing: 5 homes in which 16 individuals with developmental disabilities receive 24-hour support and 4 receive partial residential support.

Community Integration:



125 8th Avenue South -- Clear Blue Recycling Program:  Provides curbside recycling pick-up twice per month for residences and businesses

10th Avenue Day Program: Individuals prepare baked goods, help with office duties and engage in activities including:  art, crafts, and music

7th  Avenue Day Program:
Individuals prepare baked goods, help with office duties and engage in activities including:  art, crafts, and music

Maintenance Program: Helps with maintenance for Society homes and services such as residential relocation and vehicle cleaning, maintenance and inspections.

Town Clean-up Program:  Employment opportunity for people with barriers to employment.

Therapeutic Riding Program: Uses horses and horse-oriented activities to provide therapy to people with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities.

Woodshop: Provides opportunities and training for individuals with developmental disabilities in a vocational setting.

Yard Maintenance Crew: Provides a variety of services such as snow clearing, leaf raking, grass cutting, yard cleanup and hauling and shrub pruning.

Participants also deliver meals as part of the local Meals on Wheels Program

Support for 2 individuals living in shared living in the Creston Valley
Support for 12 individauls living in their own homes/apartments in the Creston Valley

Seniors Housing:


CDSCL manages a 28 unit apartment building for seniors -- includes several individuals with disabilities
