Supports and Services

Adult Day Services:  Provides small group and individualized activities in the areas of life skills enhancement, community access, volunteering, recreation and leisure for adults of all ages at multiple sites in the community.  Activities include: Access Community / Community Exploration (ACE), Occupational Centre, Recreation, Education and Volunteer (REV), and Adult Outreach Program.

Supported Employment Program: Provides opportunities for individuals to obtain real work for real pay.  Services include job development, jobsite training and job supports.

Adult Residential Services:  Community housing is provided in partnership with individuals.  These services are designed to assist the individuals to achieve success in and satisfaction with community living.  They may be temporary or long-term in nature.  The services are focused on home and community integration and engagement in productive activities.  Community housing enhances the independence, dignity, personal choice, and privacy of the persons served.  Services include:  staffed residential services, independent living and home share.

Respite Services:  Respite Services match adults with an approved, screened, caregiver for short-term respite care; up to a maximum number of days per year.

Children's Services: Provides community-based recreational programs, life skills training, and one-to-one child and youth care workers for school-aged children, after school, weekends and during the summer.

Community Respite Care Program: Matches children with an approved, screened, caregiver for short-term respite.
