Post-secondary Transition Information Forum for Students with Disabilities

Date: Thursday, February 9, 2012 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Location: Vancouver School Board, Education Centre, Ground Floor, 1580 West Broadway (at Fir), Vancouver

Paid parking is available under the Education Centre (entrance on Fir)

A venue on services, programs and resources to support students with disabilities transitioning from secondary school to the community.

Who Should Attend: The forum is aimed at students in grades 8 through 12, parents, caregivers, counsellors, teachers, resource support staff, social workers, career center coordinators, community-based support staff and those interested in current information about post-secondary programs and services.

  • Community Recreation Services
  • Employment Agencies

Participants will have the opportunity to talk to presenters and collect materials. A Resource Fair of tables and information will be on-going.
