The Challenge of Adulthood for Teenagers and Adults with ASD – Encouraging Resilience & Self-Reliance

About the Presenters:

Michelle Garcia Winner is an internationally respected speech language pathologist who specializes in the treatment of students and young adults with social cognitive deficits, including those with Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism and Non-Verbal Learning Disability. Michelle is also the recipient of a US Congressional Award for her development of “Social Thinking” concepts. Pamela Crooke is the senior clinician at Social Thinking Center and part of the social – cognitive team, and also a faculty member at San Jose State University. Her area of expertise is treatment efficacy in social and relational therapies for individuals with Asperger Syndrome and high-functioning autism.
