BC Provincial 2010 Budget Consultation

On September 21, 2009, the Provincial Government released its Budget 2010 Consultation Paper. BCACL has confirmed that we will present to the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services on Monday September 28.

The deadline for all public input is expected to be Friday, October 23, 2009.

Public Hearings

This year, the Committee will be holding 10 public hearings across British Columbia. Registration for the October public opened on September 24, 2009. For more information and to register, visit https://www.leg.bc.ca/budgetconsultations/public_hearing.asp.

We urge as many people as possible to present to the Standing Committee to encourage government to invest in the lives of children and youth with special needs, adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
